对火烧圆明园的评价，很多扔认为是小品同志“落后就要挨打”的最好例注。其实首先挨打和落后现金没嘛关系，现金被落后打掉牙的栗子多了，落后没挨打更多了。米蒂日扣现在也没打我们嘛，难道是我们注水肉的GDP是老二的缘故？

圆明园是海军军费挪用盖的，这和现在经常听到的挪用扶贫款盖政府大楼一个路数，腐败嘛。只好烧掉，没什么可惜的，和现在把缴获来的毛碟拿拖拉机碾掉一样，只不过洋人替砸们半的，一些人想不通，闹情绪，现在还友人搞“民族哀伤！圆明园罹难150周年”这类不着六四的东西还有什么意思。

1st Day Commuting on Honda NT700

The bike has less engine brake, so on my way to central London in the morning the bike just dashed forward, i had to use more hand brake than usual. The Oxford bike cover for my old BT1100 is too tight for my Deauville, so I have to buy a larger bike cover. I went to the Infinite Shop near Holborn and bought a 29GBP oxford cover. Having tried it on the bike after I returned home, it turned out to be the same size as the old cover. I had to change it for a more expensive cover tomorrow.

艾未未在伦敦的现代艺术展

所谓现代艺术，别的不好说，起码有一点是可以肯定的，那就是因为其无需基本艺术功底，普罗大众都可以参与的特性。因此我也可以搞一个关于艾未未的行为艺术，找几个人穿上警察制服，把艾胖子打个头破血流。不知道这种东东是否能被广大现代艺术爱好者所接受，或者他们叶公好龙，不能平等对待我的行为艺术。

或许这种参杂暴力的行为艺术品位不高。不过艾未未的让众人踩葵花籽，或把汉代陶器摔碎的所谓行为艺术也好不到哪里去。当然Damien Hurst，Amin Tracy的东西也好不到哪里去，充斥整个伦敦泰特现代艺术馆的，也大部分是只有回收价值的垃圾。

王丹同学还是没学好政治学的ABC，还美国名校的博士呢

王丹同学在接受德国之声采访的时候说，刘晓波获奖代表西方对中国政改失望。这位政治学博士可能是89民运人士当中最搞不明白政治道理的一位（混钱拉赞助除外）。

为什么这么说呢？因为中共在刘晓波获得诺贝尔和平奖后开始指责诺贝尔和平奖是西方围堵、遏制中国的一部分，诺奖是西方反华力量的一个工具，完全否认了诺贝尔奖的非政府、民间和独立性。

可是王丹的话和中共的指责遥相呼应，从反面否认了诺贝尔奖的非政府性和独立性，要表明西方国家是一个有协调，对中国有共同战略目标的集团，印证了中共反西方的宣传和中国民族主义对西方国家的指责。

Some dickhead gave thinly veiled threat to everybody, he basically said everybody was too laid back, except him, and they would be responsible for the possible cut and bear the consequence if they would not work harder(harder than foxxconn?).

those ridiculous 123, 421 or 221 shit. there is a chinese saying: the innocent maidens become prostitutes under the huge pressure. the company managerial bosses are trying to put that kind of pressure to get the number of hits or audience by whatever means, may they be kissing some government/party's dirty ass, or give the rich and powerful blow jobs.

for ordinary frontline workers, apart from doing their own jobs well, e.g. work over load and overtime, what else can they do to achieve the fantasy goal? begging Hiatad Uls, kneel down in front of Hiatad embassy to plead?

Old bike & new bike

I had this BT1100 for 3 years, commuting 40 miles most of week days when I work from my home to central London. It has got many parking penalties from the corrupted and thieving Westminister Council. Their mobile phone paying system is designed as such to confuse motorcyclists and generate huge income for the council by issuing penalties to paying motorcyclists. I told a lady who works for the council's parking subcontractor and happened to receive my complaint call the other day: quit your job because your company is a thief and robber.

This Honda NT700 is 400cc smaller than my old Bulldog, hence it will save feul for my commuting. The engine is relatively new design, so it is more efficient, and accelerate faster than the old bulldog. The old bulldog's air-cooled V-twin engine was designed over 30 years ago,it uses 17GBP for my weekly commuting 180-190 miles. The new Deauville's liquid-cooled 4-stroke 8-valve V-twin is a new design, definately the Honda Deauville will save my petrol bills.

The plus is NT700 have too built-in side panniers which is convinient, I do not need to wear a rucksack or a tank bag everyday. The dealer also agreed to include a decent sized top box in the sale which is much useful in future long-distance trips.

The Deauville have half fairing and adjustable windscreen, it is much more comfortable to ride than the naked bulldog.

A Day with Arjia Rinpoche

I metArjia Rinpoche and his entourage at noon in St. James Sq. and had lunch together in a nearby Italian restaurant. The Rinpoche gave me his recently published autobiography Surviving the Dragon, and i was honored to receive a beautiful yellow hadag from the Rinpoche. I also presented a white hadag I brought back from Dharamsala last year to the Rinpoche on behalf of my Mongolian friends.

The roundtable discussion in Chatham House went well. The Rinpoche gave Dr. Brown a copy of Surviving the Dragon. Dr. Brown said he would write a review.

After Chatham House, we come to Bush House together and did a 30-min TV interview.

After seeing of Arjia Rinpoche, I received a call from Rob Francis of 21st Moto who told me he can include a big topbox in the deal for the Honda NT700 I want. The new bike can be collected this Saturday morning!
